New Blogs Coming in 2026!
I've been on a public writing hiatus since 2021—my writing during those years was purely personal journaling. But I'm excited to announce that new content is on the way. Stay tuned for fresh stories, reflections, and insights!
Reflecting on 4 years at Amazon — from a fresh grad in Dallas to an SDE in Seattle. Four lessons on being self-driven, competent, visible, and a strong communicator. Plus my honest take on AI and what it means for engineers starting out today.
Reflecting on the Seattle Seahawks' Super Bowl LX victory over the Patriots, my journey from a casual viewer to a die-hard fan, and how sports bring an entire city together.
Reflecting on the politicization of cricket as India and Pakistan turn the beautiful game into a diplomatic battlefield. Both sides are guilty of hypocrisy, and the real losers are the fans.
Reflecting on a beautiful sher by Jaun Elia: 'Koī mujh tak pahuñch nahīñ paatā, itnā āsān hai patā merā' — exploring the paradox of accessibility and emotional distance in his poetry.
Fall 2020 - I started my second internship at Text-Em-All (TEA) in Frisco, TX. The whole internship was virtual due to the coronavirus pandemic. My internship lasted 22 weeks and it was totally fun.
Summer 2020 - I started my internship at Copart as software engineering intern in their seller department. Copart is an online car auction company that generates revenue by selling cars using their app/website.
Since a few people asked me to write about how I left my job back home and came abroad for higher studies so this blog is primarily for them. As I was working full-time back home, it wasn't an easy decision for me to come abroad for my graduate studies.
From the day I started watching tennis, I fell in love with Rafael Nadal's (the King of Clay) game. He is, no doubt, one of the greatest tennis players, if not the greatest, of all time with a total of 19 grand slams.
It's about time I published my blog - it's January 2020 and the last blog I wrote was one year ago. Life has changed so much since then, I'm currently in the United States doing my master's in computer science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
There is a beautiful Indian story about a musk deer with a really powerful lesson. Now you may have already heard of musk, maybe because it exists in your perfumes, or your aftershaves, or deodorants as a scent.
I noted down the main takeaways from Mr. Eram Hasan's talk during the breakfast today. He gave us some advice and life-lessons. Always think critically and have a good analytical mindset.
1:30 AM - November 22, 2016 - Chongxin, Gansu, China. It's been 40 days since I have arrived here in Chongxin Power Plant which is in Gansu state of People's Republic of China. I'm in China for an official 5-month training program.
From my personal experiences in life, I have noticed that time is related to success. By saying that, I mean that time has a very close link with the success of an individual.
I had no idea that these four years at PNEC would change my life and groom in so many ways. I was a complete nerd and an introvert when I joined PNEC. I would spend most of my time studying and sleeping during the first semester.
After coming to the United States, I met a lot of young Americans (students) and asked them about their life in university/college. I was really amazed to see that most of them (90% approximately) were paying the tuition fee on their own.
It's been 2 months here at Murray state and I am having the best time of my life. Murray is a very peaceful and beautiful place to live in. It's a small city in Kentucky which is known for its scenic beauty and wonderful weather.
A person in his/her life can wish going to the most beautiful place on earth and spending some time there or can wish for travelling around the world. But if he/she ever gets a chance to go boarding in hostel then he/she must never miss it.
